Cerinthe major Purpurascens is een geweldige tuinplant die zeer geliefd is bij bijen. De plant heeft zilverachtig blad en is ook goed als potplant te kweken. De plant blijft mooi compact als hij op goed doorlatende 'arme' grond staat.
Een tip: Voor het zaaien het zaad ca. 12 uur in lauwwarm water laten weken.
